Development Driven Hockey Club

KODIAKS PROGRAM

The Kodiaks AAA Hockey Club was founded in Colorado in 1999 and relocated to Southern MN to develop high level hockey players. The team was created to provide athletes the opportunity to compete alongside other top players and to be challenged and mentored by elite coaches.

The Kodiaks program is designed to support Minnesota's Community Based Hockey Program and intended as a AAA program focused on training and development for 7 months per year. The program is focused on developing players' skill and creating hockey players with high game IQ.

Feedback from Kodiak Parents

“Amazing Local program for spring/summer hockey. I love the focus on skill development.”

2010, 2013, & U10 Parent

“We couldn’t be happier with what Kodiaks has done for our kids. The coaching is top-tier, they expect the best and bring out the best, both on and off the ice. It’s more than just hockey; it’s character, discipline, and development in a truly competitive environment. It’s taken them from learning to skate to where they are at today.”

“Devin, Mike, Wags and others are there each practice / game, mentoring our kids, making them better.”

2011 & 2010 Parent

“We chose to tryout for the Kodiaks as we were seeking a challenge for our peewee age goalie. Their practices are fast paced, the focus is on development, and the coaches are knowledgeable. They also bring in goalie specific coaching several times a season. I personally like how they push my player to be better both on and off the ice.”

2012 Goalie Parent

“We chose to do the Kodiak program to provide progress, a challenge, & continued growth during the offseason. Kodiaks provided us with skill development through higher level drills & the opportunity to skate with high level players & coaching staff. As a parent, the on ice immediate coaching during drills/games is something that I like to see, correcting habits in real time, not hours/days later. More important than the skill development is the attitude & effort coaching that is a focus of training!”
